What I Would Tell my Younger Manager Self
Many managers struggle to find the right management style that fits for them while, at the same time, helps effectively support their employees. Some may have had great managers and leaders that they try to imitate, others may have had some terrible ones that they vow, “I’ll never do that to my employees!”
But, how do we find a management style that reflects who we are as a person…a style and an approach that aligns with our strengths and values?
In this interactive webinar, participants will travel with me in my own management journey and hear about the lessons learned over a 25-plus years career. We will then explore authentic leadership and how the philosophy behind this type of leadership may help guide participants toward a management style that both feels genuine and gains the trust and confidence of their employees.
- Participants will learn about some common pitfalls of management and what tends to fuel them.
- Participants will learn about Authentic Leadership and it’s four components.
- Participants will create an action plan to target a component of Authentic Leadership to develop more.
