Learning to Confront Effectively without Ruining Relationships

Very often people are hesitant to confront an issue because they are not confident in their skills to do so constructively and they are fearful it hurt their relationship with the person they are confronting. This highly interactive workshop will help participants build more confidence in their ability to confront in a good way and learn and practice the "Help Me Understand" style of confronting.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to articulate six reasons we hesitate to confront
  • Participants will be to identify four outcomes when we don't confront
  • Participants will learn and practice a seven-step model of constructive confrontation

He also spent 20 years as an adjunct faculty member in the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service.
